For most visitors the small Catholic church is probably the most memorable ruin in Bokor. Unfortunately it's not possible to climb to the bell tower. I'm not sure if there even is anything in there. It looks solid. Remains of a heavy Vietnamese gun are located on the hill behind the church, roughly where this picture was taken. It might have been brought here by a helicopter, because I don't think that the road was in drivable condition when they fought here against the Khmer Rouge.

Wow, nice church! The main building looks more like a French 1880 locomotive shed to me :-P I love the color of aging on this photo!
