  what is amazing is north of queen mary they didnt expropriate all that much, decarie was pretty ugly prior to the highway, its south of queen mary you see how many houses were torn down on the east side of the highway

  but didnt they take down housing on both sides? I was sure Addington had housing on both sides at one time, but maybe not.

  yes at that area yeah, from cote st luc road south they made a huge cut, but between cote st luc and queen mary it was only on one side the building at the corner of queen mary and cote st luc facing marymount had a twin, they were joined by an arch and on the corner about 10 feet up you can see the first stone in the long gone arch
