  More likley Snow removal equipment cause that damage.

  This was about 3 1/2 feet up from the ground. A bit high for snow removal equipment, isn't it?

  you'd be surprised what a snowplow can do, even if it's not on the road.
could've been an oversized load (such as an excavator) as well.
