  Sure it's steel! It's just not stainless, and corrosion has eaten up the poweder coat.

  That is a concrete cast double sink with a galvanized steel rim and sitting on mild welded steel base. The think weighs about 350 pounds. Had one in our basement when I lived at home. Too damn heavy to get rid of so we left in there.

  Just like the one that was in my Mom's basement. Same taps as well.

Sadly, it got cracked and had to be replaced.

  we ended up taking a sledge hammer to ours. That was fun!!
