Description
The Cornwall Canal diversion. With ducks and everything!

During construction of the power dam this short section of the canal was moved a couple hundred meters north (see the map at the start of this gallery). Presumably this was to ensure any future Canadian Seaway locks would be far enough away from the intakes of the power dam.

In the background is the big-ass dike holding back Lake St. Lawrence.
