  I'd go with the latter, I saw this before (in B/W) and I actually wondered if it was an original feature or not. Really rare to see respectful graffitii. =(

  A friend use to live in a place very similar than this one (built barely at the same time )....The sculptor dad did buy it for nothing as it was abandoned for decades. He restaured parts of it ,died ,it was sold then became a deluxe hotel .... renovated cleaned, and by doing so it lost all the spirit there was before.....so sad...But that drawing brings back all those incredible memories.....
