Description
A classic example of sixties futuristic architecture. I will be surprised if it lasts another 40 years though, the way the city is growing.

Absolutely heartbreaking that this place was abandoned. It never even had a chance to live. You can see how much work was put into it - it got so close to fruition, and then - bam - nothingness.

Great gallery. Thanks.

I really love this gallery, great job!

I found some pictures where you can see how this place looked like back in the 60s. Unfortunately you can only view the thumbnails (password is required for full size image).

It is the site of the new Leachfield land fill. Something is going to, have to, happen soon to this building. The area near it has grown so much.

Amazing gallery, amazing location. It's sad that it never got to have a history... what a waste.

I hope it reopens under new management for the location's sake and for UER's alike of course. Thank you for the pics! Excellent job!

I am in love with this place. Found it on google earth, looked up the info, and saw my first photo of it about a year back. If I were rich, I'd buy it, just so that it'd never be demo'd

Totally! Oh, man, would that be badass. It would be kinda rough, shoveling all that bird poop out, though.

Aw! Great pics. I see that big building each time I visit my friend in Phoenix (I'm from Canada) and I always wanted to go in there. Can't wait to go back and see for myself. Hope they won't demolish it until then.
