For real explorers. You were such a wuss to take an open back door.
Posted by lost 7/30/2005 10:29 PM | remove
Aw I know, but I have knee issues. :(
Posted by IIVQ 7/30/2005 10:33 PM | remove
so? I have knee issues too! That didn't prevent me from leaving a factory by hopping over a 2.5m high metal door. (Just because I was lazy to climb 40 metres up the hill)

^)<( drives a Rover 400 now though - makes you become sensible.

You got one for free because the factory got bankrupt. You're still a wuss.

I still drive like a maniac though. :-( Honest.

You probably exerted more energy climbing the 2.5m door than climbing 40 metres up the hill!

no I wouldn't, the hill was very steep and I wouldn't have managed with my knee condition. Well exept if it would've been the better alternative of two

  What's wrong with your knee?
Posted by purplegrum 7/30/2005 10:51 PM | remove
God you're like a bunch of old men! (I too have a knee complaint).

Posted by lost 7/30/2005 10:52 PM | remove
  I drive a Rover, can't help it.
Posted by purplegrum 7/30/2005 10:53 PM | remove
You drive an old man's Rover too - least I drove the ned version! :P

Sob :( auld before my time.

haha nah it looks like a good car mate, you're young at heart! :P
Posted by lost 7/30/2005 10:57 PM | remove
  Good for £600 anyhow.
Posted by purplegrum 7/30/2005 10:57 PM | remove
Bargain. Lot of car for that money.

  They have NED rovers? Cool!
Posted by lost 7/30/2005 11:14 PM | remove
Only 58,000 miles, R-reg and with a full MOT, I wonder what horrible secrets it hides. :-S The NED Rovers are the pesky little ones.
Posted by purplegrum 7/30/2005 11:17 PM | remove
  That's not bad - my Almera has done 59K and it's an X-reg. Our Rover 25 is a 01 plate and it's done 71K+!

Nobody does 10k miles a year anymore!
Posted by purplegrum 7/30/2005 11:24 PM | remove
Shhh! That's what I tell the insurance company I do!
Posted by IIVQ 7/30/2005 11:27 PM | remove
I just drove my mothers clio over the 150k km mark. It's probably more than 15 years old though.
Posted by lost 7/30/2005 11:29 PM | remove
I tell my insurance company I do 8k miles a year. Shameful.

In the eight months I've had the Almera: I've done 10,000.

Prolly trips back and forth to Bangour that clocked that! And a couple to Elgin.

Just going back and forth to work I'm doing about 300 a week min, not including any outings... at this rate I'm due another (expensive) service in two months. :(
