  uhm, do the canadian jets normally have the capability to refule in the air? i don't think we have an air tanker, i could be wrong tho.

  Not true. Canada has Hercules and Airbus aircraft configured for air refueling.

  True - I was referring to our "flying gas- stations" though. We also need to have some cross-compaitibility since our stuff ends up operating in theatres in co-operation with other forces.

  that's all the USAF KC-135 was... a militarized 707.
