This wall has seen better days. I very much doubt this building is quakeproof, it's highly likely that this happened at the last serious earthquake, in 1998. Many old buildings in the area were damaged severely.

That wasn't a very thick wall, you should try to break through armored concrete sometime... :D

Unfortunately, this part of the complex was demolished months ago, so nothing's holding it in place. Sigh.
