A Lada would be a good UE car actually - they've got pretty high ground clearance so you can take them on ground other cars would just die on. (Used to have one :( )

Yeah, I was looking into getting a Lada Niva. Almost as unreliable as a Land Rover but you can pick them up for pennies and they'll go everywhere.

I had thought the same - just buy one cheap, run it for a year or so and then get rid of it. Imagine cost of fuel etc. would be quite horrendous though.

My family's history traces back to France and Renault was our surname back then, Story I hear is one of my ancestors commited a crime and got kicked out of France, I think it was a monetary crime. Wish I recieved money from the car maker.
