These are used for tightning the 'break off' section of the fuel pipe.

If someone drives off with the nozzle still in the car, the 'break off'... eh... does just that!

You'd have to be pretty stupid to leave the nozzle in the car though. :-\

Well, I've seen some people who would lead me to believe that apes evolved from humans so seeing that would not surprise me.

Neat how the rust is making it look like the spanner is bleeding.

My second week of working with my brother in law servicing fuel pumps a while ago we had 9 incidents of exactly that.

Nothing is too stupid for the great British Public!

Or the great Canadian Public! Check out my post in 'Work Woes'. That's *only* two of many things that I've seen. I could easily overload Av's server if I mentioned 'em all! :D

9 incidents? Wow, I thought it'd be pretty rare.

  Nope.

All trucks mind you - no cars involved although I'm told it happens!
Posted by lost 5/6/2005 9:40 AM | remove
Why trucks though? Because it's less easy to see if you've left it?
Posted by TurboZutek 5/6/2005 3:07 PM | remove
Also a truck pump can be set to 'auto' - where you can start pumping and walk off and leave it - and get something to eat / go to the bog etc etc

Further I think a lot of truck drivers did a shift change at refuel, could account for it?
Posted by lost 5/6/2005 7:54 PM | remove
Of course, because they have such large tanks.

  And such full, pert breasts!

Wait...

Oh... Trucks?
Posted by SnakeCorp 5/6/2005 10:22 PM | remove
  I like breasts.

You'd like trucks with full, pert breasts? Would they perform bukkake on you? :-o

'Would they perform bukkake on you? :-o'

I'm not sure that makes sense... I could perform Bukkake on them perhaps?

:->

Lost, I sense you haven't quite got the hang of this bukkake lark, have you?

Forgive me, I'm an innocent. :(

Well, we live in an ever changing world... Perhaps Losts' "Equal Opportinutes Bukkake" could work?

An innocent? I see turbozutek has his work cut out for him. *evil chuckle*
