Description
1985. The lights on the panel are really lit up and not just a reflection of my flash. Why keep the power on in a long-abandoned building?

  That is very unusual. If you weren't inside I'd suspect power for alarm circuits!

  I think they're obliged to keep the power on for the fire alarms.

  Look at the box at extreme left: that's a counter, not something to do with alarms...

  Wonder if that box has CTs [current transformers] in it[istrument transformer metering]. Service couldnt be more than 200 amps dont like the exposed wires. Havent they ever heard of putting wires & cables in conduit? like parts of the U.S.A does?
