that door may have gone further down into a sub level, it was mentioned it looked like it did, but i dont think anyone actually checked, i was busy trying to avoid bad spots in the wood floor and also taking pictures.

  AHA........ Now I get it, those pipes you photographed earlier which I thought looked like gas pipes were, ...... they were for the "fog" machine.

  I stand corrected yet again, I'm batting zero tonight, my better (more chemically informed half) advises that Freon would be used in a heat pump, not a fog machine. Glycol I'm told is used in fog machines.

  I thought they put Freon in air conditioners.
