To the right is a building that was connected to the Baptist tower by a breezeway (though the doors from the breezeway to the building were locked). I do not know if it is active, or if it an the hotel/parking garage are part of the Baptist complex. I would guess they are, and will soon be demolished, though I really do not know. This is a charter memphis city school for science. The hotel has been closed a long time, since Baptist became less and less busy. We used to park in the parking lot in the bottom of the building as late as 1992 (you could get a parking permit for $20 a month through Baptist).
