sweet UER decals:

A warm, sunny spring day, tho sea gusts were chilly. I had my first view from the watermill trail, and was fortunate in flowers. I crossed the road and walked around the main part of the fort before entering it. I saw no signs, nor security of any kind. The front lawn is mowed. However, as I worked my way in it was clear that this place was abandoned (tho it may not remain so; the northern "Cambridge" battery is being advertised as cleared for public access). I was disappointed to see that the main barracks floors were too dangerous to enter. However I was able to enter many smaller buildings. And the exterior is fascinating.
