Boeing 727-225, s/n 20381/823 originally delivered to Eastern Air / Pam Am in 1970, then to Club Air / Virgin Atlantic then converted to freighter by First Air some time around 2000. It is waiting an interesting fate at the hands of the NRC. Another First Air 727, C-FRST sat for years beside one of the buildings before being towed into a field, pressurized then blown up for research. Must be fun some days to work for the NRC! The registration number C-FIFA has been re-assigned now that this 727 is off the aviation books, but it appears that the new plane, small single engine trainer / puddle jumper, that it was affixed to was crashed by a student pilot in Springbank Alberta on May 2nd 2010.
