Location DB > United States > New Hampshire > Gilford > Kimbal Castle > Kimball Mansion 2011 Gallery Description Was up in NH visiting family and decided to take a drive over to Gilford and check this place out. 1st attempt there was a cop sitting in the driveway.. we made pretend we were lost, turned around and left. 2nd attempt was a success.. got there about an hour before sunset and was able to snap off some pics. 3rd visit was early the next morning around 6am... Thats when I took most of these pictures. Looks like some local kids tried to make a "haunted house" cause I found Halloween decor and masks everywhere. At least the were nice enough to only spray paint on the plywood used to board up the windows and didn't totally ruin the joint with ridiculous Jonny loves Jane garbage.. This place is in rough shape so watch your step. Found some holes in the floor on the staircase and there are some soft spots in some of the rooms upstairs. I highly recommend going during sunset, the views of the lake below are amazing..
