Im often asked about the "purple stripe" law in Texas. Its just a provision in article 30.05 of the Texas Penal Code that allows landowners to "post" their land, i.e. mark their property as off limits to trespassing. I think the intent was so ranchers with 90 miles of fence didnt have to buy a trailer load of No Trespassing signs to post on their fence every 100ft. In this case the geniuses that posted this property used lavender paint so legally I submit that its all for naught, null and void, Ha!
