Location DB > United States > Texas > San Antonio > Anatomy of a Dead Neighborhood > Anatomy of a dead neighborhood

Gallery Description
It's a location off the major highway. From the road it's completely invisible. I drove past that area many times, but never stopped. Always had my suspicions, though. So it's not untill I took a look at Google Earth did my suspicions proved to be true....
What I found was remainders of once thriving neighborhood.
Now, hoplessly overgrown and populated by deer, lizards and birds it was for the most part destroyed except for one house that for some reason escaped it's faith.
As I made my way down the paved road I kept stumbling on what used to be an isolated row of houses surrounded by thick brush and trees. With every step I was seeing more destroyed dwellings, some reachable and some aren't.
Every house was like a grave with only a few hints of families that occupied it in the past....It was indeed a dead neighborhood, deserted for reasons unknown...
All there was left behind was memories and rubble....
