Gallery Description
...It was a dark and windy night....
Coming back from work and seeing that house again brought back all kinds of memories...I had to stop.
This is where having camera and tripod with you, really pays off... Having never seen that house at night I was pleasantly surprised. It was beautifully lit on all sides by ambient electricity. Sky was fairly bright, but overcast. Slight breeze. Nice, I thought. This was a good night to shoot.
I parked behind the house and attached camera to the tripod.
First ten shots went without a hitch. Following photos got a bit dull, since I was having trouble finding a good angle that would make the house look interesting. Sometimes a UE site does not feel very generous and will only allow you a few good pictures. This house was no different, but I kept shooting.
Night photography has that effect. Every photo is a surprise.
A small jewel...even bad ones....
So I kept shooting. It felt good, that's all. If I knew one thing for sure that night it was that this is where I was supposed to be...No other place in the world. Nowhere else, but right here. Holding THAT camera in front of THAT house. That sensation was infectious, addictive...I was in heaven.

Eventually it was time to move on. Everything has a beginning and an end. This was definately the end. A few final shots were in order. Something different maybe.
I crossed the street and set up the tripod for a few long shots. Red and white streaks from the passing cars smudged accross LCD. Exactly the effect I was hoping for....
As I was clicking away a group of bikers on Ninja crotch rockets flew by. A girl on the back of the lead bike was seemingly glued to the spine of the head rider. Her legs were tightly wrapped around his sides. Nothing in this world could tear them apart at this moment...This is where she was supposed to be...Nowhere else. I kept shoothing as they passed ... One second and they were gone....and for one brief moment everything was fine in the world. Everything was in it's place. Stars, sky, this house, this camera, this last shot... It was a perfect night. It was right.

Somewhere on a highway a girl was streched accross her boyfriend's back as they sliced through the night on their jet bike...
I was in heaven.
