(Until recently) A three story hospital with 2 operating rooms, maternity/nursery wing, triage/ER rooms, cafeteria, admin rooms, and rooftop access. I found a few large walk in freezers on the first floor which may have served as a morgue; if there was an autopsy room (and it's possible there wasn't) I never found it.

This was a cool small town hospital, with many fixtures, signage, and items left behind. I had even found a few remains of the building's retirement party. Unfortunately, it is now just an empty area, even the rubble had been removed, but despite the toll of vandals and ten years of disuse, this was a very interesting and sweet location.

This hospital originally opened in 1930 as a 2-story brick building, with a pig pen behind it. The pigs belonged to the hospital, and were slaughtered there for food. In 1949 the house was converted into apartments, and a new hospital building was built on the property, and the new hospital was occupied in 1950. Additions to the building were made in 1968, and the ER was added in 1997. A helipad was also added at this time (across the street), having been funded by the local Rotary Club. Since 1949, the RC had given about $2 million to Chatham. In 2008, the staff held a retirement party for the building, as a newer hospital had been built at this time. In December of last year (2018), the building was demolished.
