Love Street (its final name when the building was last operated) was a beautiful, derelict, green building on the corner of Main @Commerce in downtown Houston that was a "home" to many homeless people living outside and around it.

This location no longer has anything exciting going for it because all it is is a naked structure.

Time machine to at least go back to 2013 when the building was still standing and abandoned.

Sunset Coffee Building was a building that was turned into one of Houston's first psychedelic nightclubs in the 1960's called Love Street Light Circus. Love Street was a popular, although, short-lived music venue located in downtown on Allen's Bayou. It was small with a capacity of under 200. It wasn't too fancy, but had a lot of great psychedelic music with mostly local bands like the 13th Floor Elevators and the Moving Sidewalks performing there regularly. Sometimes a big artist that played the Coliseum would walk over and jam with the locals after their concerts. It was rumored that Hendrix himself stopped by after his concert and jammed with Billy Gibbons.

The "building" is going to become a coffee shop and kayak rental store for the Buffalo Bayou running behind it.
