     History
Built by entrepreneur and esteemed Erieite Harrison F. Watson, the Watson Paper Company began as a little corner plant in the heart of Erie's booming industrial center. Soon after, the plant began to produce tar roofing paper for the sprawling urban community, resulting in booming success and making Watson a millionaire. H.F. went on to construct the Watson-Curtze Mansion, a popular Erie icon. The plant continued as is until 1984, when it was bought by Quin-T Corporation to produce gaskets and millboard. However, when their highly secret use of highly illegal levels of asbestos was exposed, a great brawl of the law broke out, with multiple employees coming out with grievances relating to mesothelioma. After a few years of battling, Quin-T went bankrupt, let its employees go, and sealed its doors forever in 2007.

     Future Plans
The complex is currently for sale. However, any investor in their right mind would keep far away from this factory. There is zero salvage value, and the asbestos cleanup would be of an astronomical price.
