     History
Lake Pauline is six miles southeast of Quanah and just west of the Conley oilfield off U.S. Highway 287 in southeastern Hardeman County. The small community was a tourist resort on at one time, although the lake is almost gone, and all the people went with it. Maps from the 1930s show a power plant, a business, and a few scattered dwellings around the lake.

     Future Plans
Demolition was started awhile ago, but it appears to have been halted. The site sits in disrepair currently, and it appears to have been that way for some time now.

[edited] Looks like Demolition has begun again.. more walls have been torn down and the place is nearly gone. Bummer!
