The small community was a tourist resort on at one time, although the lake is almost gone, and all the people went with it. Maps from the 1930s show a power plant, a business, and a few scattered dwellings around the lake.  Media Coverage  Future Plans Demolition was started awhile ago, but it appears to have been halted. The site sits in disrepair currently, and it appears to have been that way for some time now.
