An abandoned sewage treatment plant, made up of 5 buildings plus treatment ponds. Located along the Greenbelt Trail, it's fairly easy to gain access thanks to lack of maintenance. Since it's located along a trail, no one will be suspicious if you park your vehicle at the start of the trail for long periods of time. All exterior doors are bolted and / or welded shut. There are also accessible sewer tunnels running under the complex.
August 2016 update: the treatment ponds have been filled in, and the two buildings that were connected to them are also gone.

Created in 1975, Watts Creek Sewage Treatment Plant provided sewage treatment services for the Nepean area. It was closed down in the mid-1990's when services were transferred to another facility in the east end of Ottawa.
