An abandoned branch of the Long Island RR. The branch from the present LIRR mainline to Liberty Ave. has been abandoned since 1962. South of Liberty Ave was abandoned in 1950 after a fire on the bridge in Jamaica Bay and later rehabilitated and is now the Rockaway Line of the NYC Subway.
