The Nicholls Building served several purposes throughout its history, most notably for the past few decades it has been a Mental Health Services Facility providing both inpatient and outpatient services. It was closed, along with the Civic Hospital (which has already been destroyed) and St. Joseph's Hospital, when the new PRHC hospital opened on this property last year.
The building has been used by police and firefighters for training excersizes since its closure and has 24 hour security inside the premises.

The psych ward and the patient rooms are quite interesting. Lots of stuff left behind as well. Also, the writing on the walls and doors and the breaches made by police and firefighter training missions make for some fun photography missions while evading the security guard.

The Nicholls Building is slated for demolition in the near future, once the police and firefighters are finished using it for training. According to hospital administrators, it will be turned into another hospital parking lot.
