     History
Built sometime since World War 2 as an expansion to the papermill (see "Moldy Mill"). Sometime in the late 90s, a sewer collapsed that was owned by the cities and the company wasn't informed - that resulted in massive amounts of chemicals leached into the ground and river, resulting in a massive fine being levied on the owner. The papermill was shut down, and the soap plant continued as offices only.

series of fires starting in 2008 in the complex and ending in 2023 with everything now being gone

     Future Plans
Talk of tearing down and cleaning the site up for a provincial park.

The soap factory portion is clearly being maintained (a large section of the roof was recently cut out and replaced, there are active alarms on the site, lights are occasionally left on). The fire suppression system in all buildings on the property is still active, but the papermill portion isn't heated and is flooded pretty badly.
