     History
This drainage canal has grown with Denton as it has expanded, and now crosses a good 2.5 - 3 mile stretch. Some areas date as far back as 1880, with original stonework, others are as new as 2007. It still functions full time as a drainage canal, so use all precautions that you would in an enclosed drain.
