Los Flores gold mine is just under 1000 ft. deep. The entrance is low but expands to walking height after 30 feet. Between 50 an 80 feet there is roughly 18" of standing water. The tunnel has one side passage which forks roughly 100 feet to the left. There are numerous calcite formations known as cave pearls. It is one of nearly a dozen known tunnels in the valley.
