 Overview
 Description
The CCGS Tupper was a Canadian Coast Guard Ice-strengthened Navigation aids vessel that served from 1959-1998. CCGS Tupper was based at CCG Dartmouth Base (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), throughout most of her active days.

She was decommissioned from active service in 1998 and used as a training ship at CCG Dartmouth Base until 2000 when she was sold and renamed MV Caruso.

In October 2008 a large fire broke out aboard Tupper while she was moored at the Dartmouth Marine Slips.

In July 2009 it was discovered that the engine room, forward hold, and the crane machinery room are flooded with about 3 feet of water.

     History
    Commissioned as CCGS Tupper in 1959 serving in the Dept of Transport's Marine Service. Was renamed CCGS Tupper in 1962 when the Canadian Coast Guard was formed. Home port was Dartmouth, NS. Was also stationed in Charlottetown, PEI.
    Decommissioned in 1998 and used as a Coast Guard training ship until 2000 when it was sold off to be turned into a yacht.

    It was never converted.

    Moved to Marie Joseph (near Liscomb Mills/ Ecum Secum on the #7) when it was purchased by Clem Fleet to be scrapped.
