edit Desertchick : La paroisse Notre-Dame de Grâce a été créée en 1924 et réintégrée à une autre paroisse en 1997, dans le quartier Saint-Sauveur de la ville de Québec. Les cloches ont sonné pour la dernière fois dimanche le 29 juin 1997. Les portes de l'église Notre-Dame de Grâce dans Saint-Sauveur se sont fermées à jamais après une dernière messe solennelle dans l'église que remplissaient des résidents et d'anciens paroissiens heureux d'y revenir mais tristes de la voir fermer. La générosité de ces derniers avait permis de la conserver plusieurs années, permettant à la paroisse de célébrer son 70e anniversaire en 1994. Mais la baisse d'assistance aux offices avait fait diminuer les revenus, causant finalement la fermeture.
Depuis, des organismes ont essayé en vain de faire revivre ce temple merveilleux. Mais pendant ces années, la bâtisse s'est détériorée, ce qui fait que le Journal "Le Soleil" annonçait le 15 octobre 2008 : "L'église sera démolie d'ici Noël" pour faire place à des logements. Que de serrements de coeur pour ceux et celles qui y sont attachés ! (source : ndgquebec.blogspot.com)
