Some more research has turned up info on this place. It was built in 1919 according to the stone on the building, but it doesn't show up in any city directories until 1926, where it is shown to be operated by a Richman Brothers store (clothing, I assume...I've always been told this place housed a clothing store at one time.) In 1937, the Goodall Company (apparently associated with Richman Bros.) was listed as owners. They were a clothing manufacturer, and rumor has it, made parachutes for World War II. In 1940, the building went vacant. National Terminals Company, a storage company, took over from 1942-1947, when it again went vacant. 1950, Sci-Eff-Ec Laboratories (a chemical engineering and water conditioning company) shared the building with S. Weitz & Co., also a clothing manufacturer. In 1954, Lorain Screen Process, a sign and card company, was added to the roster. I'm not sure when, but Sci-Eff-Ec Laboratories left sometime in the mid-50's. From 1955-1958, S. Weitz shared the building with the Lorain Board of Elections. In 1959, S. Weitz left and Lorain Storage & Warehousing moved in. They would share the building with the BoE until 1963. They would be joined in 1964 by yet ANOTHER clothing company, Joesph & Feiss. Joesph & Feiss moved out in 1972, when the Gel-Pak fruit company moved in, sharing space with the BoE. Gel-Pak's Banana Specialties building was housed here, sending frozen bananas off to Cedar Point (amongst other places) for chocolate covered bananas. Shortly after, the BoE moved out, leaving the building solely to Gel-Pak. Last known occupancy of the building was 1988, when Lorain Foods, Inc. took over for a short time. In late 2011, ground was broken for the Lorain County Health & Dentistry Facility. As of May 20th 2013, they will be fully moved into the old warehouse facility.

As of 2012, the building was re-purposed as the Lorain County Health & Dentistry building.
