     History
The sign wasnt very tall or brightly lit. The architecture was nothing to write home about. The location well, it was just unfortunate. By the time you saw this place you had already missed the freeway exit. But with 181 rooms there was almost always a vacancy.

A two star hotel at best, this Travelodge (one word) was a $59 a night stay for anyone desperate enough to take the next exit and do a U-turn on I30 after they'd already passed it going 70 mph. Or maybe as a discrete late night rendezvous close to downtown.

This motel was renovated in 1995 but I think it kept its 2 star rating even after that. Now its coming down fast so better get in soon if you want to explore here.

EDIT: moved this to history section **Update** This location is now a grassy field, the hotel has been completely demolished and cleaned up - TexasMike
