Beautiful abandoned mansion with doors and windows wide open. The gates are locked and the walls surrounding the building have metal spikes on top of them. There is a private beach attached to the property with walls that extend 20 feet into the ocean.

Apparently construction of the mansion started in the late 80's or early 90's but was never completely finished.
Most info I have found online states that the owner is "Mr.Stokes" and that he and his father were number runners, kings of illegal gambling in the Bahamas (due to the name it's know by from the locals, presumably this is accurate?)
Many other reports claim that it was/is owned by un-named drug dealers.
I have not been able to find info confirming the actual true ownership.
In 2013 Leon ‘Onni’ Martin was found hanged in the mansion by an apparent suicide. He was a musician and an accountant and was the husband of the Minister of Transport and Aviation of Bahamas, Glenys Hanna-Martin.

In late November 2019 the body of young woman was found behind the property. Reports claim she was sexually assaulted and beaten.

From articles I've found online (one is linked in the media section) there has been some urging from residents and real estate professionals to have derelict properties cleaned up/boarded up (this one in particular was named) I cannot find any response so I suspect it will continue to rot.
