Looks like it used to be a family's summer home / cottage. I've lived here for 12 years, and have never seen a soul there, and even when I moved here, the place had been empty for a while (I'd say late 80's). I used to use it as a fort when I was younger.
(Either that or an entire family, and their inlaws were murdered here. Not even their goldfish, Flippy was spared. The fishbowl was spilled amongst the ruckus. It's really haunted and it is said that the apparition of a slack jawed, toothless man with a plaid jacket, a mullet, greasy torn jeans and poor grammar is seen wandering the property of his former dream home.)
