I think this area was bought up by a developer in 2002. The buildings on it have been sitting empty since.
As of December, 2007 all trailers are gone and only the house remains. Plenty of no trespassing signs now.
The rest of the road is worth looking over. There is a large 2 story house near the top of the road, some old barns, a burnt down brick house towards the end of the road, and several places where houses and trailer once stood up and down the length of it.
Just make sure not to go anywhere near the chained off drive at the end on the right. The Fraternal Order Of Police has a small shooting range down in the woods. Plenty of signs to warn you it's there. Rarely used, it seems.
