 Overview
 Description
Manitou and I found the way in last December, but when he and Yokes came by to go in, it was New Year's Day and I was a little too hungover. They did the east building, but then we came back to do all three...

Three apartment buildings, all 3 storeys tall. The 2 to the west are older, looks like houses built in the 1920s or 1930s then later converted to apartment buildings. Eastern building added later, much longer and with a basement of sorts. Condo sales center is the back of this building, so caution must be exercised when they are open.

  •  Interesting Features
Newer eastern building had tons of residents' items left behind, from clothes to furniture to everything else. Like people just walked out... Older 2 western buildings were pretty empty, though there were some nice architectural details. Strangely, no basements in the 2 older buildings. We looked. And then saw the hole in the floor with just dirt beneath. Odd.

     History
Two of the 3 buildings looked like they dated from the 1920s or 1930s, with the 3rd building likely being built when the original houses were converted to apartments, likely in the 1940s or 1950s.

They were demolished for the 88 on Broadway condominium development.
     Media Coverage
Nothing, seems council gave the go-ahead to rip it down without any one caring.
     Future Plans
The site will likely contain the condo buildings for a long time.
