This place is bizarre. It's built like the frame of a house, but there's no divisions for rooms, no setup for plumbing or electricity, etc. There's a chimney, but the fireplace is bricked up. Who built this thing? And why?

This site was located next door to an abandoned house and a few steps away from an old cemetary. When I first started working in Alpharetta in 2000, people were doing construction on the structure. Eventually, major developments sprung up all around it, but it was clear that the structure itself was no longer in use. It stood unchanged for a very long time, until around 2004 when the chimney was removed. At some point in 2005, the entire building was either demolished or removed from the site. Strangely, the abandoned house still stands.
