The construction took place between 1888 and 1890. Because of its location on the shore of Saltsjön and the outlet of Mälaren, the new factory was named Saltsjöqvarn. But the construction was far from done. More and more buildings were built between 1890 and 1970, including the semolina mill. Saltsjöqvarn was finally shut down in 1989.
