 Overview
 Description
Large drive-in theatre screen / wall, surrounded by woods, just off the highway, a small guard shack, pipe fencing. Some speaker boxes and poles are still left. Main point of interest inside the concession stand and the outbuilding with the projectors.

4.10.2024 - The former Swamp Fox Drive-in was demolished June 1st, 2006. A small strip mall stands in its place.

    Interesting to see the actual projectors for a drive-in, and under the screen although the inside was burned the rubbish has been moved outside and is scattered with body parts from the haunted house. An occasional paintball here and there, but nothing too exciting.

     History
    1950 - W.T. and Mary Friddell open the Berkeley Drive-in. It accommodates 200 cars.

    1975 - The drive-in is leased to Consolidated Theatres Inc. due to W.T. Friddell being ill, it is renamed the Swamp Fox Drive-in.

    1984 - Consolidated Theatres ends its lease and the drive-in is operated by an independent operator.

    1986 – The Swamp Fox closes for good.

    2006 – The Swamp Fox is demolished on June 1st, and the property is later redeveloped for retail use.

    No future plans yet, however it is still privately owned by the guy who ran the paintball field.
