One can enter the park through a number of entrances, the most obvious being at the listed street address, or at the back entrance across from a '99 Restaurant and a Stop and Shop off of Route 3A in Hingham (just park your car in Lincoln Plaza and walk across the street). Walking down the path, not much can be seen except for the underside of the bridge between Hingham and Weymouth, but if one continues along the path for a short while, he starts to spot the various abandoned bunkers in the area. Some are huge and open and some are small and reserved. Some are right along the path, and some one must diverge from the path for a short distance to get close to. Most of the bunkers have been subject to graffiti and tagging over many years, making them even more interesting to view and photograph than if they were simply abandoned bunkers. It seems as though some of the bunkers further back into the park have been demolished.

Abandoned bunkers, small and large, closed and opened. Staggering amounts of graffiti. Incredibly accessable. Probably THE easiest UE location to explore EVER. If you're in the area it makes for some good photographing.

They used to be munition depots.
Some of the bunkers are welded shut, the open ones are occupied by nonthreatening bums.
EDIT (1/24/06): Recently pretty much all of the buildings that would be even remotely interesting to explore have been demolished.
