Lots and lots of old jars and cans, some still have things in them. Found a paper dating to 1942. Also a burnt out house. Inside one building is a bucket which says "asbestos roof covering". Also the old style knob and wire electrical system. Quite a neat hisotrical place. And even better there is no evidence of vandals except in the burnt house, amazing considering how close it is to the road.

very close to the Brighton PD, and just feet from Bromley Lane

may want an asbestos respirator if you are worried about that, but when I went I didn’t see the need

I really don’t know much about the history, it was obviously a farm of some type. Has bags of grain inside still, among other things used for animals.

It is so close to the road I imagine ANY improvement to the road will result in this great piece of history being destroyed. UPDATE 4-22-04: Drove by tonight and nothing is left except the burnt house, its truly a shame how there is no respect for the history of places.
