Old house lost of boards with Farms in behind this is right beside Sinclair High School! EDIT(NZero):This place is owned by the Cemetary across Taunton rd. beware of coming in here, security does frequently remove high school students smoking up. TechnoTed addition: It was once a large family farm. Walking up the driveway from the road, you see a boarded up white farm house with three entrances and a porch to the left. Once past the house, there is a small workshop of sorts to your right with a large counter, cupboards and firewood storage room. Finally, at the back of the lot there is a rusty shack containing bricks (likely belonging to the cemetery). Adjacent to this shack is a barn and grain silo. The barn floor is very unsafe, however the cellar is still very much intact. Consisting of several rooms, it likely housed livestock but is now home to some old chairs, hay and an old babycarriage.

Very interesting place to visit, lots of family history type things inside. TechnoTed addition: There is a very rustic barn at the back of the property. There is also a shed that is filled with cement bricks. These bricks have crosses, numbers or R22 written on them. I believe that the cemetery uses this place to house disgarded or unwanted materials. In the front hall of the house there is an assortment of angels and other religious figures that appear to be dumped, possibly old memorials left by headstones. The ground is also littered with plastic vases and the occassional piece of pottery. Again, making the connection to the cemetery. Finally, back in the brush there is a television and some other neglected furniture and farm equipment.

None that I know of but it had some very old Russain family crests in it. TechoTed addition: There people using the house within in the past 4-5 years. I went to Sinclair and remember seeing people frequenting it. Also, the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) used to use this place for occassional training ie. scaling walls and swarming secured buildings. I have lived in Whitby for 18+ years and it has always been here. I believe that the inhabitants abandoned it a couple years ago. That was the last time that I saw any cars or activity there.

Nothing seems immediate. All that exists is a no trespassing sign. No indications of demolition.
