On the way home from New Jersey back to SC I stopped on Exit 222 on I-81 to get gas. I noticed this place and asked a few questions to the store clerk. Upon further investigation I went to the museum down the street and asked the young girl behind the counter about the Dejarnette center and access. There are signs posted "State Property, no trespassing, violators will be prosecuted" Yeah right, so she tells me the people go in there all the time. When I went in, there were others taking pictures. One of the women actually used to work there so I got an unofficial tour and explanation of the various rooms and their uses. I am sure I am not the first one on this site to go here, but I bet nobody else got the tour.

No, I was there Sunday, November 23. It's funny, I have been here for 3 years and this is my first post. I hope that traveling from SC to NJ will give me more opportunities to meet some of you all along the way.

You don't need to travel to meet up; I've met up with at least a dozen explorers just in SC.

I was down there over the holiday weekend with Shane. That place is pretty awesome, I will have to post some photos once I get out of work. I also travel a lot form NJ to VA. Where is NJ do you work? There a ton of things in the northeast worth checking out!
