|  | | | A small powerhouse thingy near the parking lot. Every opening was bricked up, except for one window. Through it with flash, I was able to make out insulator banks and a large door with Emergency Exit stenciled on it.
Approaching the Waterworks.
The burned administration section. The corrugated roof corroded through until it had a spiderweb quality.

Somebody had, at one point, covered the windows with steel.
The main entrance.
The tile floor had holes in it where machinery had been removed.

A fountain just outside.
The sluicehouse and lock were just downstream. Getting to them required walking down a dry canal bed, through wasp-infested ers, and along a narrow dam.
There were three people on a rock in the middle of the river. I’m still trying to figure out how they got there.
The floodgates.
The original lock. Ships this size no longer come this far up the Schuylkill.
Each of these holes was about thirty feet deep.
Some gears and stuff.
