Another Festicle, Another Brush With Death

Atlanta had another eventful Festicle this month with about twenty people responding to the call. Again we broke into three groups and this time we hit schools, drains, quarries, scrap yards, and industrial relics of all kinds. Fun was had by most this time save for concussions, bruised bones, contusions, sprains, stitches, and mild sunburn. A special thanks to those who came from out of state to partake in the fun, and especially to the Columbus boys who showed us the right way to come down off a wall. See if ya got stitches yr doin it wrong. Post em if if ya got em and I'll work on getting my video up soon.

Like I said, a special thanks to the Columbus guys who came out with their gear and showed us the proper way to come down without getting stitches. I used to work just down the road from this place for years and never even knew it was there. Quarry was awesome till dude in the green jeep showed up and said GTFO. At least he was decent about it. Sorry you missed out Dat5un, you would have loved it. Anyhow....

Damn, it's taken me most of the week to get around to sorting my pics. Here are a few of my shots from Zombie Quarry, specifically of the SPECTRE folks doing their thing. I'll be posting all the other shots on Flickr at some point, so I'll share the link for that later.

Great pictures everyone. That quarry was freaking sweet. Hope you're doing better Red. I'm jealous I missed out on the hospital infiltration, all we did was infiltrate a classy, upscale gay bar.

Thanks for the great drain shots, Crypton. I had wondered how much was actually visible down there in the dark. Is that some kind of spray-bar setup? If so, what's the purpose of it down there?

It appears so, maybe to prevent any spray from the sewer coming in? But then again, if the sewer backs up... it would be sorta redundant for that wall.
