Textile Mill #2

Huge textile mill built in the 1800s with parts of it abandoned in the 1980s. Other areas of the mill were still operational until about 2005.

Dear lord, what a find.
This looks like one of those places you could visit more than once and see something new every time.

Also, that sexy trapdoor. Why don't people build more trapdoors in their buildings? Do architects have something against whimsy and intrigue?

Trapdoors are awesome. A revisit is necessary. There are more buildings I did not have time to see. Also you would probably need a canoe or raft to explore that outfall. It is a very cool place

These are wonderful! Going through them made me feel homesick almost! No matter how "different" these textile mills may be from one another, they have the same feel. They feel like home to me. Enjoyed them all.
