sounds like some sorta acadian fortification thats been long destroyed hopefully these lands are left alone for future genirations to explore

Yes but where? If the HRM and NS Archives(which also archives NS's military documents) don't have them and the Archaeological folks can't find anything, aside from archaeological evidence of its use, then where could documentation be? If it still exists, or ever was any.
